If you prefer to explore the surrounding areas on your own, you can pick up our equipment and bring it to one of the many great spots nearby. Treasure Island is home to many excellent flat water paddling spots and we offer overnight rentals so guests can take their equipment out to go exploring.

Weedon IslandAnother great place to take your Treasure Island kayak rentals is Weedon Island. It is located North East of Downtown Treasure Island. Honeymoon Island and Caladesi IslandAnother Great Place to take your Treasure Island Kayak Rentals is Honeymoon Island State Park. Many Kayakers simply park on the side of the causeway where there are many sandy launch points. Caladesi Island is a short paddle across the channel where there is a 3 mile paddling trail. The park itself requires a fee, but has long stretches of white sand beaches. The best places to take your Treasure Island kayak rentals in Ft. Desoto are the canoe trail, and the canoe kayak launch at Tierra Verde. Access to the kayak launch spot is located on the right side of the road before crossing the bridge at the entrance to the park. Ft. Desoto has many great kayak fishing spots, as well as frequent dolphin and manatee sightings. It is a great place to explore miles of beaches, some only accessible by boat.
